A new system without, let me call it “wipe” would just not make any sense. So I believe they have to reset your current HWM to implement the new System.

And gave back 600 gs after 2 weeks. Why you did not write it ?

I wonder… Will these mean that for those of us that got 600gs Harvesters armor, will the same rules apply and our refunded harvesters armor will on be as effective as our expertise level. If so that’s a big lol

Which developer said progress will be reset? The assistance of the game is given by the Amazon assistance, the same one that tries to trace your lost packages, so it is worth less than 0. We await official clarifications but the logic should make us understand that they will not reset anything, otherwise all the players already now they would stop any “end game” activity and many would leave the game permanently feeling cheated for the THROWING hours. So … we just have to wait
in any case, this was spread by an AGS employee so they have to address it or ppl will go totally nuts over next couple of hours (they already are )

They will not be that stupid to reset progress, I have no clue why people reading the announcement ever think so.
It is just a change in how you will progress from now on.
It has been stated over and over and over that customer support arent devs and know nothing.

it is already confirmed they will reset progress, the only question is which players will get progress reset.

Read up. No reset confirmed, nowhere. The temprary reduction mean that if you have, for example, 520 on chest and a Company mate give you a 550, that chest will be 520, then 521, etc until you reach 550. That is a “temprary reduction”
if I grinded crafting and made a bunch of items to get a 570gs item, and the next day its equivalent to a 500gs item. thats a reset of progress homey.

It’s not a reset because your watermark never been 570 in your example. But you have fictitiously increased your GS with crafted items. The same reasoning applies if you buy items with a higher Gs in the general store. You don’t raise your GS, you just cheat the problem. With the new system, rightly so, they force you to earn that level of gear. Also because, let’s face it, if you are in a rich company and they pass you all the items at 600, the real war would no longer be upgrading your equipment, but finding the fastest way to get rich and get everything immediately, including a high gear score.
