They haven’t planned enough servers in general.
Most EU Servers are over 6000 queue.
There are over 220K people connected only through Steam. God knows how many more bought the game on Amazon.
And I cursed myself. Midgard now under maintenance after a 2 hour wait. BAH.

I payed 40 euros to wait in que for 2 fkin hours while other people play and enjoy the game, yaaaaay!
I wouldn’t be pissed off this much, but knowing who owns the fkin and knowing they have resorces, they were warned this will happen. And here we are on launch experiencing the same shit as in beta.

Did the server crash? Maintance?
Rollover help says “server is at character limit”. Is there a possibility that Midgard actually hit the limit and it kicked everyone out of the queue? Or is this pop up just a generic way of saying that since the server is under maintenance it can support no more than 0 characters? In short…should I cut bait and join the queue with another server?

Update, I was re-set in the queue at 735. So somehow in this case the server maintenance worked in my favor as I jumped about 2500 places when they brought the server up again…but I would guess others may have had the opposite result…which must be pretty frustrating.
Hahaha and down for maintenance again. Hilarious. Guess it’s just gonna be this way for the first few days.

Streamers getting whitelisted, so they flood EU servers too
Yeah, it’s surprising that a team under the Amazon umbrella wouldn’t have planned a bit better for massive server data bursts. BTW, I was replaced at 2310 in the queue. So far…3400…dropped…735…dropped…2310. Perhaps the most frustrating thing is that they aren’t able to keep people in the same place in the queue…thought that problem was solved a few decades ago…yes I’m getting snarky
