How come only earth and life quintessences are farmable? The amount of motes you need to get a single quintessence is ridiculous, and by the time you’re done fusing gems, you’re all out and can’t cut them. Rolling 600GS arcana weapons needs SIX each roll, and you aren’t even guaranteed to get the perk+stat combination you’re looking for.
Why not have the different quintessences drop from more mobs? There’s a ghost for every element, there’s no reason for them to not drop any, or at least the essences/motes.
Personally I am appreciative of the fact quintessences are such a pain. Motes are the only thing reliably holding any value on my server currently so selling them is funding most of my other trade skill leveling.
Ha, shame you come here to troll. There is a spot in everfall where you kill the wood dogs, The drop them everytime and drop up to 70 wyr wood. Next time shill kid because we are here to help. Also better to grind on those than trees to level wook cutting skill
I’ll sell you mine bro! I have over 200 of each from harvesting. I dont really craft but tbh I can’t seem to sell them! IDK why but they just aren’t moving very well on my server.
Maybe I am mistaken, but I was in a ‘angry earth’ area. I killed one of those angry earth dogs, that you can skin, it gave me 'something of the ‘quintessence’.
I could be wrong, this could be very wrong. Im pretty sure it was purple/unique and had quintessence in the name.
I’ve read the post but I just don’t understand the issue… 6 quintessences are 6 * 80(?) Motes - that’s 240-480 coins on my server. Is that really expensive for a top notch crafted weapon?
Yeah, I was a kinda pissed about it actually after grinding arcana high enough to do quints, my server just discovered/got high enough to do the angry earth wolves.
Like, it’s not as if there’s a place you can just go and farm runic leather or something as a guaranteed drop.
