How would you all feel about different playable races with racial traits added to the game?
Or to further that question, faction specific races w/ racial traits?

The Lost as a playable “race”, introduced with the death staff, a necromancer weapon.
nah i like having all the all humans. skins that look like other races sure (like a werewolf skin or something) but not a race
To late for that. And how about they fix the game first
Amazon won’t try anything that could create any more shitstorm (Since you most likely only will fit in more humans),
They care more for people on twitter then people who play the game xD.
Race: Human
Trait: Squishy Meat Bag
Nah don’t need another clone, we good as is
I believe they do. You’re able to choose male or female.
i hate racial traits so no. Only unbalances the game.
But what about just different races?
They working on that. This would be something later on.
Are you by any chance HK47 ?
i mean different races with later patches or areas sure would be great. aslong they dont get special benefits
It doesn’t fit in with the lore of the game.
New World isn’t set in some grand fantasy epic which sports hundred of races and mythical beasts. It’s set in our world. It’s humans colonizing an island, stumbling upon some mysterious red magic and other mysterious magics making humans go “BLARGHEGHLRHGH”
Right now, no. but at some point I see this game expanding into that. Keep in mind, New World is less then 2 months old, who knows where we’ll end up later on.
new world definitely doesn’t look like our world. so they get to introduce whatever they want.
like Orks, Elves and Lizardmen?
A race of bugs that secretly control the (new) world?
We already have that now, and they seem to be getting stronger.
AGS is woke and does not encourage or espouse racial disparity. everyone is the same and one pigment of skin is not celebrated over another.
