As a level 33 I have come across Rafflebones 3 time and chased him around the map like an idiot only for him to expload. I was only able to land 3 hits on him the last time. Was this mob designed to piss me off to the point that I delete the game?
Ask friend for a help or just take a bow or sth with range and you can kill him no problem. Or even hatchet. There are many ways to kill him solo.
Wait you saw him 3 Time…since that thing was created i Never saw him. Just relax and keep doing quest your not missing anything major.

when I see him, I change weapons to war hammer and spear. You have time for this because the raffleboners doesn’t see you until you get close. Then you just control it with the weapons.
Relax, I see him quite often in Reekwater when he is level 66.
You can easily solo him then. But sadly he only drops sh… for me.
But an obs. gypsum each time.
You either need some CC or a lot of damage. He’s actually not intended to be killed solo (hence the black gold name plate) but can be killed solo if you have either of the above. Preferably both.
If you don’t… announce him and get others to help take him down fast. He doesn’t really drop much of great significance really. At 66 he does drop 500 shards and a random world drop item that is tradable. That’s worth the extra time taken to ensure you kill him.
It also depends where he spawns. If it’s in a busy area with lots of mobs then he’ll be tougher to kill as he’ll path through them and they’ll attack you. So consider pulling some of those first.
I’ve seen this guy so many times that I wouldn’t be concerned if I missed him a couple times (and I have twice I think, usually due to him being surrounded by annoying CC style npcs and so I blame myself for not taking my time to kill them first).
