More likely the dupers are giving out coin to all their friends/company, not randoms.

I will eat my shorts if they can track all the duped gold laundered via trade post. It’s simply not possible after it has left the dupers character.
They will fix the exploit and do nothing but some sort of opium announcement like “we have taken appropriate measures against anyone who used the exploit”.

You can get gold randomly sent to you. There is no accept or deny option, it just goes into your bag.
They are giving gold out to everyone to get other people banned if they go down. It’s pretty a pretty genius, all-be-it awful, tactic.
I got on and I was at 10k from 5k and I don’t know if it was from sales on AH or being randomly sent money. Mostly because the AH is broken more than half the time I check my sold auctions. Or when they gave us money for auctions. There is no good way for the player to keep track of where their income is coming from.

If you receive randomly 100k gold, you should go and make support ticket right away.
Lol I should make a support ticket because I may have sold auctions that I can’t track because the game is broken? Or because AGS might have refunded me for broken auctions or because maybe a duper sent me 5k randomly?
Are you nuts? AGS was just sending people coin earlier in the week. We have no way to track who is sending us what. Get real.

Give Coin option in the Item Screen. I’m sure this is why AGS has currently banned ALL TRADING. You cannot refuse money given through Give Coin. Inevitably some innocent people are going to get banned from salty ass dupers randomly sending them $$$ before the Trade Ban went into effect.
They will just ban the duper and remove the gold

I think you are optimistic it surely doesn’t work like this or we wouldn’t have all those gold sellers.
And I can already find a few tricks to make all that gold legitimate without ever having known how to dupe.
You honestly believe these devs are gonna go through all the data looking for dupers. They have enough to do just trying to fix a bug without creating more.
The longer this goes on, the harder it will be to detect. Unfortunately, I, along with my entire friend group are in the crosshairs for something entirely unrelated to duping. My friends and I were running an economic cartel from day 1. We run the market in every town on just about every end game material. Cut and uncut gems, all the t5 foods and legendary fish, all the infused potions. You name it, we probably have a monopoly on it.
What’s this mean? Means there’s 10 of us in one company with 500k gold each and quite a bit more in the treasury. It additionally means we’re able to fund other companies on a whim in exchange for favors. We really wanted to larp as central bankers, operating behind the scenes and orchestrating every war.
It was pretty successful too, we are well regarded amongst all 3 factions and have 7 of the territory governors on a leash.
What’s it mean now though? Means there’s a paper trail between all of us in the company that shows hundreds of thousands of outgoing gold, and we’re almost certainly going to be perma banned with no real recourse. I don’t imagine this ends well for us.

We are. Which is kind of the problem. Who’s to say that the people buying our materials aren’t using duped gold, and as a result have absolutely no problems paying our inflated prices. Their gold is obviously limitless.
Who’s to say the materials we restock on aren’t duped. We have no idea. We have spreadsheets that dictate a set buy and sell price to keep our stranglehold on the market going. If a duper posts a hundred fish within our buy range, we’re buying a hundred fish. Does it make us dupe abusers? Maybe. Does it make us dupe abusers that people who have duped gold buy our listings? Maybe. Does it look VERY suspicious we’ve probably paid out 2 or 3 million gold to other companies in order to gain pseudo control of the territories? Absolutely.
All this combined doesn’t give me a good outlook as to what’s down the pipeline for us.

Its easy to say for casual with 30 lvl - wipe everything. Harder for people who have 30-60k grinded in honest way, max lvl and good gear… gear score watermarks etc
