Same thing still happening its terrible abuse to people to be honest. People plan their time around things in the game and then some power tripping ********** kicks random people to get friends in.

Yea, This is stupid. I was just kicked from my 7th invasion. I have yet to be allowed to take part in one.
Seems they clearly don’t care. Not even on the “known” list after all this time… Still active as of 29 Oct.
The best part, after you are kicked, it keeps you on stand-by and you can’t even queue for Outpost Rush! SMH. So remember to leave standby before you leave down.

This is the one thing that pissed me off. Being locked out of doing OPR. Otherwise I’m fine with it as people doing the invasion should be able to select their team as they own the town.
At least major publications are calling out Amazons poor behavior:

well from my experience, the MAIN reason people are kicked and the defending faction tries to keep it the same color with exceptions from other factions is trust. It is known and a common practice to join a rivals invasion and steal ALL the repair parts or intentionally try to cause failure. On our server yes every faction does this kicking thing in order to atleast have a chance to win the invasion. I can recount 3 times we could have won an invasion but lost due to this exact issue of sabotage. hence the need to select people we know want to win.

I think they should just make it same faction only, or just give control to the company that owns the territory. There is no point in having them get 10 people then the rest random.
Clearly at it’s current state, it isn’t working as intended by the developers. It’s not fun anymore to signup for opposing faction invasions as you’ll almost always get kicked.
As of right now, it’s only beneficial for the faction the invasion is in.
Current solution, although it sucks, is just join your factions invasions. You’ll get in.
If the developers were trying to have everyone join together against one foe…invasions are not the way to go…they need to re-think this.
The solution here is to report the offending player(s), not to spam kick. This is a suspendable offense. I dunno how severe, but my opinion would be 5-7 days seems sensible.
A limit to the number of kicks would solve all of this. That way you take care of griefers/afk/whatever and the rest of us have a chance at maybe playing the game.
Is this issue being addressed at all? Or even looked at by Amazon?

Easier said than done.
We owned one before server merges. Were inclusive in our invasions (ie didn’t boot from invasions).
