There is no small scale pvp content, Surely it wouldn’t take long as long to develop as you could add the bare bones version and then upgrade it in the future, all we would need is 1 small arena with an npc to que at, ranked system and seasonal rewards. The HUGE win win is that It would be endless content that could last for 10yrs instead of the content you are adding now that barely anyone plays and if they do it will be redundant in the near future.
Would be best having 5v5, 3v3, 2v2 and 1v1
Also ofc balance changes would have to be better in the future and just before the release, maybe even you cant play against the same builds multiple times in a row or no lifestaff allowed in 1v1s and 2v2s…
Im hoping its more of a when, but it definitely should be very soon, there is so little endgame content and outpost rush is actually so boring pvp wise especially without ranked
Never saw them say it was coming anywhere, would be sick if you could link it if you remember where you saw it, but it was datamined like a couple weeks before release im pretty sure
Not like they cant do both mate, they are chugging out new content at the same time so they might aswell make content that is repeatable for years rather than content that will be irrelevant in months
yeah for sure man, i mean more so add it in 1-3 months down the line along with tested buffs and nerfs in PTR and actually work with the community on what is good and isnt rather than pushing it out regardless
Bro that’s the point, there is no endgame, this would be an endgame… and its far less time consuming to add and wouldn’t be irrelevant after some months like all the other semi useless content they are spending time on (e.g. awful christmas event, the new knights, 6 new dungeons, new zones etc)
that stuff was already in game or in the process. adding a whole new mode will likely be plagued with bugs which would require them to split their time. core game > pvp arenas

Who are you to say that?? haha i know so many people including myself that dont even do dungeons because of the awful orb system and the fact that you should keep your orbs until you are max watermark so that when you get drops they arent useless… Also like i said, the dungeons will most likely be redundant in 1 year time but ranked arenas will for sure take less or just as much time to add as 1 dungeon and would have faaar more players than 1 dungeon and would live until the game dies.
Most MMO’s have ranked arena, you also realise this game is centred around pvp and has literally the worst pve gameplay of any mmo on the market… The only endgame is timegated watermark farming and dunegons that are also gated by more than just lvl unlike every other mmo ever
Pvp was pretty much the entire point of this game in the first place. I get that they changed that to include pve, but to act like it should be the last priority is fucking laughable.
