Rarity/cost of crafting mods is disgusting

Shard of Consecrated Iron (Freedom mod) is going for 20-30k on my server. I’ve been camping the spot with the 2 mobs that drop it and haven’t gotten anything after an hour. This should not be an unfathomably rare item. The drop rate needs to be increased. We’re not even guaranteed a BiS after crafting with it. This is a ~35k gamble per craft when you factor in cost of mats and a Golden Scarab. Disgusting.

Acording to this website Shard of Consecrated Iron - Item - New World Database
Freedom perk only drops to characters that are lvl 45 and below. If you are farming at 60 it might not drop it.

That is not what that means. Content Level simply refers to the level of the zone you are in.

If you want to roll BiS, you need Shirking Vines (25k-30k) and Freedom (20-30k) perks.
Your chance at rolling resilient as 3rd perk is 3.45% (simulation for chest piece). And this is best scenario - rolling for resilient, which give you best odds, but 0 resell value of crafted item that is not BiS.
So you have to roll on average 29 times to have the BiS. That is 1.305.00-1.740.00 gold for charms alone. I do not count timeless shards and cooldown materials.
It’s insane.
This game actively ENCOURAGES gambling which is terrible habit (although it is better to gamble in game, but still bad). I hear so many excited people, ‘today is my day I will gamba this blunderbass for sure’… It’s sad actually. They should be excited about playing the game (PvE, PvP, doesn’t matter, not the gambling part).

So to sum up - yes, craft mods need to be allowed to be more common.
I propose to simply add Shirking Vines and Freedom perk charms to the faction shop. Made them cost 75k tokens for all I care, but allow players to have a sure way of getting them (like we can get useless resilient). This would also made faction tokens actually somehow usefull (they’re almost worthless now).

And while we’re at it - add all ‘PvP track’ craft mods to Faction Shop, but allow purchase for Azoth Salt only. Azoth Salt is worthless currency right now, everyone has tons of it.

Shows you how rich some people are lol.

What are resilient/shirking fort/freedom pieces selling for anyway? I see people try to sell them for 300k without luck. I think they’re worth more like 100-200k unless it’s something like light/focus or something.

I strongly believe that lvl range requires to get that drop. Because various named drops has similar kind of range and drops acording to that. Need a confirmation from @Developer

Shirk fort freedom resi is such a weird combo.

Shirk fort ref ward resi or freedom refreshing resi are the big ticket armor pieces that I see anyway

That’s simply incorrect. There’s another requirement (that is not included on this item) called Player Level. Imagine instead of Content Level it said Zone Level.

What’s crazy is they are all “uncommon” armor mods…uncommon I can run reekwater chest runs for hours and get one squirming vine if I’m lucky with full luck armor.
