Re ALT CHARACTER MITIGATION

Instead of giving as cooldown, why not force all-character in same account to be in same faction? Since your purpose is to restrict players from using alts to game the Faction War systems anyway?

Coz the thing is, not all of us has some good gear in every character; example: I have a good healer gear on other character which used to be in other world, but then was merged to one world to my other character, which I have good bruiser gear.

What I want to know is if a server defined as a region or a world? I am hoping it is 1 character per region.

Thats a shame, cause the ALT problem is really caused by characters on different worlds, not on a single one.

Remove the PVE buffs from PVP flagging and put them somewhere else or let alts at least flag (exclude from everything else is fine).
I have 3 on the same server, I only ever run PVE no wars, no OPRs. War lock out was already keeping alts out from what I understand.
Why keep alts from flagging at all?
Was there too much open world PVP happening during chest runs and this is the fix?

That is a really good idea, provided you mean all characters in the same world, not the same account. War participation is already limited to one attack and one defense per world. As others have pointed out, limiting a character’s ability to flag will affect their access to pve-related luck bonuses. If the goal of this change is to balance or preserve the faction system, then make players choose one faction per world.

Limiting characters per region is silly. If AGS didn’t want us playing on multiple servers, that functionality should never have been in the game. I think the limitations per world are good and do help keep things balanced, but if they start limiting wars per region now with how much time and effort people have invested into characters on multiple servers, they are going to end up alienating even more players, which will make population issues even worse than they already are.
