I mean we can just use Legate’s Ring, it’s almost the same minus hearty but if you’re medium hearty is pretty pointless. The point is that the entire situation is kinda weird, this happened because the devs changed a fire damage and keen ring for whatever reason, people called them out for it so they did the same to a random melee ring and left many similar items with the same illegal perk combination (Keen + Damage boost perk). No consistency or logic in this change.

No you don’t, dodge costs 40 for medium dodge, you can dodge 3 times with or without hearty. Even with the dex perk to reduce dodge cost you can dodge 4 times with or without hearty. Waiting a bit for recharge doesn’t count, you can dodge an infinite amount of times if you wait a bit for recharge. We’re talking about instantaneous dodges which is how hearty benefits light and heavy, that’s the main benefit of hearty because otherwise the 10% doesn’t make much of a difference.
Your nuts anything that gives extra stam is really good or increased stam regeneration, hence why stam got the nerf. You’re delusional if you think hearty on med doesn’t help. A good player that manages stam will know.
wrong. the additional 10 stamina allows you to make 3d dodge earlier without being exhausted. in critical situation this may be your lifesavier. Also yes you can probably use Legatt ring but no guarantees that they will not nerf it either. We saw Aenwyn’s answer which means that they can nerf whatever they want whenever they want with no respect to time spent on farming and resourses spent on upgrade. Obviously the argument of illegal perks combination is just a joke. The only thing is that they want us to craft (gambling) instead of farming useful items.
When stamina regenerates, it’s already almost instantaneous. Hearty is BiS for light and heavy because it gives you an extra dodge. For medium there are a bunch of other perks that are more useful, it doesn’t matter if you can dodge 0.5ms faster with 10 extra stamina because it’s entirely negligible. You clearly have never played medium if you think hearty has much of a use.

iframes are BiS, with hearty in light and heavy you get an extra iframe, in medium you don’t. It’s that simple, it’s not my fault you’re not getting it.
Literally no good med player runs hearty especially in wars it’s either leeching or refreshing ward as the 3rd perk. Hearty is a redundant perk on medium for the reasons Volkin has listed above.

…then this same response can be expected on these other specific items too but we haven’t seen it yet. If it doesn’t happen then the inconsistency is problematic because the community doesn’t know what to expect. The ring that was changed was on the PTR for like 2 months and then on live for another month and a half. So there already wasn’t a reason to expect the perks to get changed. That it hasn’t on the others is confusing. They need to be consistent.
It’s not about the ring that was changed. It’s about the change and what it means.
Edit to correct myself that the first ring nerfed was the int ring followed by maahebgal more recently. IMO they should have restored the int ring or nerfed all of them. But to add poison damage to a str ring is stupid and makes a ring many players invested into absolute irrelevant trash lol.

either retroactively fix every broken perk combos in the game wo grandfathering any player to a legacy item that no one else can get or leave it all alone and add more of them across all classes to balance their availability.
the inconsistency of the design just tells players it’s pure fly by the seat of their pants development over at AGS and changes come from whatever thread catches the CMs eyes
