There’s no reason why you should spend less time getting a Pristine Wolf claw(EPIC) then getting a chunk of Fae Iron(Uncommon). For me and a few of my friends we get Pristine Wolf Claws all the time and RARELY get Fae Iron.

really? kinda opposite for me now, lower levels i was definitely getting more claws now i get fae iron out the ass lol

By the time they were both 100 mining and skinning, had gotten 4 Fangs
if you really want fae iron im sure on you ah its cheap but if you really wanna farm it just get mining luck clothes (dont flag) and maybe a food buff and mining luck pickaxe

Not looking for either, just saying one is rarer than the other and we’ve come across more of the rarer one than the less rarer.
ah i understand i have yet to have a use for the claws or fangs but used fae iron for weapon smithing just because its easy to get now and plus when you salvage the weapons you get iron ingot back so thats kinda nice
