Is that actually true? If so that would be wild. Does that include the combat? Going to look it up for myself but if you have like a link or something that would be appreciated.
Old school tropes, atrocius inventory system & character sheet, dated on every front in comparison to new world. Junk in urns everywhere. Low graphics. Looks like 2000 ps2 game.

I am not doing that at all. Not once have I done that. I have very clearly & confidently explained that even with the problems, New World still launched better than any other MMORPG in years (aside from maybe ones that were region/localization ports that already had years of releases behind them by the time they came west). It is 4 months old. I cannot remember an MMORPG that was this well built in the first year of its life, let alone the first 4 months.
Yeah, there are bugs. That is games, for ya. There are always bugs. Sometimes they become features!
I have also stated, plainly & factually, that there is no game one can compare this to without the other game being dated or worse in comparison. New World is a next-generation MMORPG, there is nothing released, that you can play today, even remotely on its level graphically, environmentally, in terms of sound engine & sound design, proper, traditional character-sheet & inventory system appearances - it has it all. A great “start”.
Time will tell whether it flourishes & benefits from that solid, novel start, as the first true next-generation MMORPG out.
Time is the judge of that, not us. Our future selves are the judge of that. Time must play its role first.
Again: There is no such thing as “Toxic-Positivity” - that is an oxymoron & an absurdity.
We will have to agree to disagree about AGS/NW, I enjoyed the majority of my time playing it, maybe they will fix it in a few months and I can give it another go.

Beyond the constant bugs, new bugs I now get latency. Oddly my ping time to everywhere else in the globe is lower than my usual server.
I don’t think many would love this game.
I don’t love this game. It is OK. Trust me when I say I am def gonna be trying games like Elden Ring, Ashes of Creation when they come out. There is just not enough to keep me interested right now even with the patch.

Real talk, people still love wildstar, warhammer online, age of conan and many more MMO that had their servers shut down, it happens, and at this rate i would be shocked ASG keeps this mess going for 6+ more months
We can, just not for very long.
I think swimming would be nice but is by no means required. It would also be cool for armor weight value to influence this. But it isn’t the priority right now.

Who is crying about expertise at this point? Still? LoL. They should give expertise bumps for Wars and OPR in more frequent ways. What are you whining about for this patch anyways?
