Recipe Schematic Not Learned

Schematic: [Teak Carved Canopy Bed]

I spent 1k on the MP for this Schematic and went to salvage it to learn it. The recipe was not learned, and the recipe was also used.

Please unlock this recipe for my character.

Did you try any troubleshooting steps?

For example log out and log in? Wait a couple of minutes then log in.

Or file verification?

To verify the integrity of your Steam files:

  1. Load Steam.

  2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.

  3. Select the Local files tab and click Verify integrity of game files.

  4. Steam will verify the game’s files.

Please let me know if you try anything similar or if this helps.

I tried relogging and verifying the integrity of my steam files.

Neither worked, and the recipe/schematic is still not learned/not available to craft in the workbench (I have 200 furnishing so all should be available that I have learned).

I was reading on the new-world-database that a lot of the jade/ebonscale recipes are known to have this issue - e.g. the schematics not being unlocked after salvaging them.

Is there anything that can be done?

I need your character name, server and game logs please.

You can get the game logs in this way:

  1. Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %appdata% and press enter.

  2. Open the most recent file from this folder: /AppData/local/AGS/New World/LogBackups.

  3. You can use pastebin to copy the contents of the latest log and send us the link.

lol, this is happening to 100’s of us. Hell even in global chat today people were saying not to buy any new schematics. Are you serious with this response?
