Reaching level 60 and high Gear Score should feel rewarding in PvE, but it doesnt.
As a level 60 you sometimes farm monsters that are level 65, monsters have high health and defence and it takes a very long time to kill them.
Maybe when New World increases player max level to 70 ⊠80 ⊠but then there will be monsters level 75 ⊠85 ⊠and its the same problem with slow and unrewarding phase.
Currently some high level monsters needs an adjustment with health and defence.
Make the game faster phase in PvE and more fun.
Also Named Boss respawn time at 6 minutes is to long, make it 2 minutes. All we do as a group farming bosses is standing there waiting ⊠watching youtube âŠ
Deal with it. Once youâre lv. 60, you wonât notice any significant increase. No matter if GS500 or GS600 or even 625, you donât feel particularly stronger even with âgoodâ gear.
I donât know why you want to reduce monsters health when i just can solo a 60+ breach with a greatsword ⊠It is OK overall and I would say it should be harder.
I think you need to re-think what youâre asking for. Reducing health and defence still wont make a difference to your gearscore argument. What you want is gearscore that has more of an impact to player power. The difficulty with this though is itâs really hard to balance and that might explain why itâs this way.
Iâm a very new player so I could be totally wrong but this is how I feel you should approach this topic.
There is some tuning definitely needed in some spots of high-end zones for things like spawn rates, mob density, and the aggro range of archers but suggesting a 50% blanket reduction to mob health and defense is ridiculous.
They do need to tune the hp values on many enemies. Nothing says fun like smacking a corrupted deer in mangled for a month. Bullet/sword sponges are all over this game, and anyone that spends a lot of time solo knows it should be fixed.
Iâve played the game solo and donât feel the enemies are bullet sponges, unless you taking about something like the Gate Lord (but that should be a long solo). However I do agree that the feeling of progression is not very rewarding, but as mentioned this is a problem with balancing PvE and PvP.
This is a long standing problem with NW. How do you make it so you can feel like a god pve using skill to solo a pack of mobs using powerful abilities, but also make it a single player can kill you. The only way I see to do so is separating PvE/PvP enitrely.
And increase the monster damage by 75% absolutely and then give them more random attack animations. And give then let give them the more abilities to wind up for special attacks and limit our health potions to 4 uses unless we visit a camp fire but doing so would reset all the enemies in the world.
Yep the whole gypsum grind is extremely unrewarding. Doing my chest runs everyday, just to see a gear score number go up by small bits without feeling any difference.
This whole system sucks imo and is part of the problem why many players face motivation problems in end game.
