This morning I went into some calculation to breakdown every cooldown requirement.
After some calculation I have come to realise that everything is possible to do as a casual player, despite the lack or ressource with bots, except Runestone.
Did you guys knew it is needed, without any kind of bonus, 2,500 Lodestone, 1250 Sandpaper, 60 elemental lodestone and 12800 stone in order to craft 10 Runestone. It is nearly 5 times material needed then any other Legendary refining material.
I have to camp lodestone spot in order to make it, and I play only 6h a day. Imagine the casual player who play 2h per day that want to hit cooldown every day?
I personally think that this is too much, even for the casual player to gather all this in one session in order to hit cooldown for the day.
I want to know if there a possible reduction of crafting these in the near future knowning that the Ultimate Rune will require a couple of Runestone to be crafted. Can it be in par with the other refining cooldown.
If you search “Runestone” on these forums you will find dozens of posts on this topic.
If you read those posts you will see developers have already addressed this feedback at least on one occasion in the last month. They indicated they are aware of the situation and the current recipe and how it is configured is intentional and not a bug.
Additionally, everyone has to spend the same amount of time achieving the same progress in games. The fact that someone has less time to play a game shouldn’t be a concern or factor in how you design a game. It should educate that individual’s choice to choose games whose design better fits their playstyle. Making everything easy and accessible in short order to players with limited play time leaves those with greater vest able play time with nothing to do in a very short amount of time. You want to keep both types of player interested and spending money on your game but the one who spends more time generally spends more money too.
I understand your point. We are fighting many bots in the servers right now causing a rupture in open world ressource. it is not making the game more easy that I am asking for, just more reasonable. Requiring 5 time the ressource of any other cooldown is a bit excessive in my opinion.
I can achieve other cooldown in a day of gathering all together. Imagine if Asmodeum, the most used material was required over 3k of mats (Ori Ore) just to be crafted. People would of go nuts on it.
Indeed it should the same amount of time achieving the same progress. That I totally agree that why Runestone is not the same amount of time for the same cooldown.
All together I agree that this might have been posted 20 thousand times since launch. I do not want the game to be easier I want it to be realistic in time spend versus progress received.
