So I got into new world hardcore when it originally came out, I left after reaching level 60 due to the insane bots everywhere and so many people exploiting, and the ban craziness all over and companys just mass taking over all territory’s due to them being apart of a streamer persons company or something so servers were pretty much total gold farms for massive dominating companys and nobody could compete.
My concern is this, is new world still having these same issues, I want to get into the fresh start servers but if I have to worry about a company just mass conquering the whole world in a few days and than nobody standing a chance, if I have to worry about bots everywhere I go I find no point in returning to a broken game.
Is new world more fun now? Is it less broken and is a company just able to jump in and mass conquer all territory’s to super gold farm like they were able to originally when the game released, the game system was so broken a company could just buy the best items in the game for each guild mate and make there guild unstoppable with the best gear you could imagine in the game, it was so insanely broken the whole gaming system, is it better???
I don’t care if a big company pops up, I plan to play and gain advantages where I can. It’s been a year, I’m assuming AGS has worked out most of the exploits, at launch it was a shipshow if you catch my meaning. Even the fresh start is a few weeks following the main launch of brimstone sands so hopefully they have worked out more of the bugs there.
I expect a much more enjoyable beginning vs my first initial month of new world, and I know I’ll be playing alongside many newcomers and returning players. Myself and a few of my friends will be coming back after like 6+ months away, and I’ll be bringing at least one new player along.
My biggest concern is that they underestimate how many new players will want in lol.
Also regarding megacorporations, apparently they have fixed many of the abusive mechanics such as tax maxing, azoth cost abuse if you’re in the wrong faction etc.
I just find it hilarious that they named a US West server “Ennead.” As if that isn’t going to be confusing, especially for ESL players.
