I’m sorry you felt insulted. But you might as well came in an said “I deliver pizza for a living and making PvP servers would take some time.” You’re just not really qualified to make those kinds of statements.
They went too far with opt-in/out PvP system, the current PvP off/on kills the openworld interaction system, there are options with less impact of the whole game like flagzones or criminal tag system. Moreover they would set the high level zones mandatory PvP-on, there are no lowbies on shattered montains or reekwater.
After all I think the PvE content is weak and PvErs will leave, only PvPers community will keep playing NW and finally they are going to realize of it too late. NW will have no chance to turn back and everybody will be unhappy with the game and will die slowly, we, the players, will go back to the start point and money in AGS pockets.
First impressions are everything and they made sure that all play styles had a terrible one lol. Idk if there’s any coming back from that. They shot themselves in the leg right out of the gate. So sad.
I would go as far as to chip in money (Yes, give more money to an already filthy rich company) just so we can get rid of PVP players. It only takes 5 minutes reading the in-game chat and another 5 more browsing the forums to come to the conclusion that they are the most toxic and antagonizing group out there. I am all in favor of dumping you all in single server and let you work it out from there.
On that same note, trust me when I tell you NO ONE from the PVE side is against an exclusive PVP server. NO ONE. Those opposing that idea are the same PVPers because they want the always PVP on feature enforced on PVE players under the sadistic argument that “they enjoy that sense of danger while being out there in the open”. You know, exactly the same feeling would turn Ted Bundy on while stalking his victims.
We will happily leave your server for free if we were given our own
Verifiably false
Oh I don’t feel insulted. Trolls don’t bother me. I just meant you can throw insults at me if it makes you feel better. I understand how those can be difficult to differentiate between though. What I don’t understand is how you can’t grasp that the critical thinking skills required for a development position would give someone more insight into how complex problems are solved.
You do seem a big hung up on me mentioning my position though instead of actually arguing my point. Ad hominem arguments aren’t going to get you your PvP server.
Yes, in the multiverse.
Is this the interdimensional forums? Because they’re filled with seething PVErs explaining why we can’t have PvP servers. I didn’t know we were communicating with the multiverse here. That’s kinda cool
I’m as much of a PvPer as it gets. I just want to hear a real reasonable argument that justifies them creating brand new servers one month into release that would split the community and defeat the entire purpose of the MMORPG. This isn’t a PvP game. This isn’t a PvE game. It’s an MMORPG with elements of both and people who want them separate actually just want a different game. The PvPers and PvErs fighting together to control territories and hence tax rates and azoth costs is the purpose. That’s what world PvP stems from so if anything they need to incentivize territory control more.
What they could add is arenas for more on-demand PvP.
There are better ways to achieve the same end without creating new servers.
Literally no one is explaining or saying you can’t have them. NO ONE. We want that to happen and we back you up all the way. With PVP players in their own server, we can slowly heal this Chernobyl-state you have fostered in this game since day 1.
If you arent a pvper then why do you care? It wouldn’t affect you in anyway. Thats the part I don’t understand. If you don’t want to play on a pvp server, then don’t. Simple as that. There is literally no downside to adding a PVP server for the players who want that type of experience. Everyone else is literally not affected at all. If anything it might actually improve the experience for casual players when there are less sweaty-try hards on their server, making the optional PVP activities more accessible to them.
How does it split the community anymore than it already is? We dont all play on one server there are dozens of servers already. Whats the difference if one caters to a specific experience that some players want?
Read the post directly above yours lol. What are you doing? Is this a bit? Are you doing a bit?

When 15-30% of the player base is on a different server that causes issues for the economy. You think raw materials are hard to get now? Try having to personally farm for even more mats. Rare materials? You think everyone wants to deal with high prices because there aren’t enough available resources on the AH for people who want to train skills? There aren’t enough active players to hack the community nearly in half this early on.
What about wars? What happens when factions become even more imbalanced and people quit because they literally can’t get a single territory? Or when the power on a faction becomes so consolidated that one or very few companies control who goes to war? Or when the battle between companies on a faction for leading the war becomes one-sided and the same company leads every war?
Settlements? How much longer is it going to take to get upgrades to crafting stations? And when people lose wars because of the reasons mentioned above? People are going to get burnt out or bored because they can’t craft what they want.
Just a few examples how reducing population like that could hurt PvErs.
less sweaty-try hards on their server, making the optional PVP activities more accessible to them.
Or the false sense of security results in more PvErs flagging and giving more food to PvPers.

Because PvErs and PvPers group with each other for a lot of activities when they aren’t PvPing. By creating a new server they literally can’t play with each other. I’ve grouped with people I fought in wPvP while levelling.
You’re literally explaining how PvP servers would fix this shit show “economy” we currently have and you don’t even realize it lol. Fantastic point, doofus
I don’t think you understand the underlying issues that make the economy the way it is. The number of players on servers is not the reason. It’s bugged drop rates for mid-level materials that will only get more difficult to obtain when there are fewer people farming them. There is a bottleneck for mid level refining trade skills because of it and because of all the gold sinks (upkeep, property tax, etc.) The resulting deflation prevents people from even being able to buy these materials.
Once again proving your ignorance. This is my last response to you. You’re pretty dense.
Not even remotely what I was implying, you dolt. Do I really have to explain to you how an economy doesn’t work in a world of infinite resources?
Pvp players dont need pve players, we can do the pve stuff just fine by ourselves…it should be true the other way around also.
How are we forcing pvp on pve players? Explain this twisted view to me pls.
using your logic
if you are a hard core mmorpg pvper why do you want to change a game that doesn’t cater to your hardcore gamer god pvp style? go play a game that is already made for hardcore pvp instead of trying to change one that isn’t
