Region/ World Transfer Bugged, deleting ptr char wont fix 3/2

  • What is your character name in New World: Countrybumkin
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Hyperborea
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Unable to transfer back to US east because it was saying I already had two characters on US East, even though I only had one.
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Unable to play on the server that I was previously on and have been on since i created my character.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No, I still cant transfer because now it shows i have 3/2 characters so deleting my ptr character would still leave it at 2/2 even though i only have one character on us east live servers.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Region Transfer from Us east to EU servers, wait the 3 day time limit, attempt to transfer back.

I apologize for this problem you experienced being unable to transfer to the desired server. This is not the experience we want our players to have.

Let me know what steps you’ve tried and attempt to verify the integrity of your Steam files and retry it:

  1. Load Steam.
  2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
  3. Select the Local files tab and click Verify integrity of game files…
  4. Steam will verify the game’s files.

Please if the issue persists escalate this situation through the website.

I have the same issue and it’s been 2 weeks since I contacted support and Im still not able to transfer

This did not work, im still unable to purchase a transfer token to US East and my drop down still shows 3/2

I’m sincerely sorry for this situation you both have been experiencing being unable to transfer, please let me know your character username, server and region and faction you’re in!

I was just looking through similar cases and noticed in one instance having characters in the PTR server was causing this situation, once removed the player was able to transfer, let me know if you’ve characters there?

I already deleted my ptr characters 2 weeks ago

Bro, I’ll help manage your expectations…They just give you a runaround you try to ask for updates. My character has been stuck in the EU for over 8 weeks - still no clue if they are planning on fixing this.
