Tried to transfer from us west (yggdrasl) to us east (maramma) but it doesn’t let me. I can transfer to SA, EU, et al, but not us east. In game name goldnuggets.

As it is mentioned there it seems that you do not have enough space to transfer your char, have you check on that?.
By the other hand, there is a know issue that you can find on [FAQ] How to Transfer to Another Server or Region and it says: “If you have ever deleted a character in the region you want to merge to before Feb 11 2022, you will likely not be able to merge into that same region you deleted that character in. This is a known issue we’re working to address in a future update.”
This could be the reason why you are not allowed to transfer to that region.

space should not be an issue, I did delete a character there 2 days ago (Lvl 18) in order to move my lvl 60 character there. It seems like the before feb 11 issue is still an issue. Any idea on the timetable?

I will continue to wait then. Can the character on Maramma be un-deleted? At least I would get to play with my friends
