Has anyone noticed that the 2nd boss on Reg. Genesis is now harder after that server update we had (I believe) a week ago.
The hard part is killing the adds on the boss’s first garden wall, dps is just not strong enough to kill the adds and the adds kill the healer.
I came back to the game about two weeks ago and the first time I did Reg. Gen, I was GS520 and our grp had absolutely no problem, now after the server update, we cant get past that 2nd boss b/c of the adds!
I’m now gs555 and playing with similarly equip players and the dps is just not there!
I play as a healer, med. armor (have read that now Light Armor is the META, so it seems they never fixed the armor issue from a year ago, oh, did they fix the gem issue (gems not giving their full %)?
As a healer, I can raise my hand to this. 90% of the time I always get killed during the last phase when a horde of trash adds come clobbering me… I like a good challenge, but for a reg. run… there should be significantly fewer adds.
Not everyone is going to have maximized gear… not everyone is going to have perfect dps… expeditions should be for everyone, not for a selective group.
The last phase when everyone is in the walled area is rough, the boss should die b4 the walls come down so the adds should not matter at that point.
The issue is on the first wall, the 4 players are to kill the adds while the tank stays with the boss, unfortunately it seems that the 3 dps just cant handle the adds, this started after that server update last Saturday.
