Currently, we are on a server that is mainly turning Yellow & Green. This is due to losing a large number of Syndicate players from the last transfer. In addition, we have multiple people transferring back from other servers in different factions that switched to CoV after transferring back. We have been recently thinking about moving to purple to help even the playing field. Unfortunately, with all the transfer madness, we cannot do this since some of our players cannot switch since they can’t switch factions due to the 120 day timer.
So we are asking the Devs to consider allowing guild faction transfers before the 120 days if a specific faction has a low player and guild count.
despite the idea of making a server all one colour as a “hey we won” idea… it’s actually terrible for the life of a server. i do think we need to shorten it in some way to make servers more viable and last longer.
Yes, I think there might be 3-4 Syndicate clans on the server now. If this happens there needs to be a way for other guilds that are interested in competition to transfer over without the 120 day timer. We could help the health of the server if this was available today.
Yes… The only issue with that is the server that is merged loses all holdings. Not even sure a Company is reimbursed for anything. I know this was tested on our beta server and it does work smoothly. At least at the time. But how long till they attempt that with all the current character transfer issues? A quick fix would be to let guilds jump to another side to even things out if they wanted too.
