Remove 5 man groups from oprs or make different queue for only solo players

It’s the bare minimum they could do, but it would go a long way. It’s not even fun being on the team that’s stomping because the match ends before you even get your fix.

I agree, but often times people who group up as 5 play somewhat a normal comp. If you remove this probably everyone is going to play bow or musket. I enjoy the challenge of having a 5 man on the other team. Beating them always feels good.

u can play war with friends? But i know, randoms destroy with premade groups is great.

… for you …

they can play dungeons and wars together lol

It’s also a thrill & good practice to fight an organized group instead of 5 - 15 rando’s either left clicking mindlessly or hugging the road like free real-estate.

Which is why he suggested

How do you think that would effect que timers? Cross server opr isn’t coming till summer 2023. Pointless conversation for right now really.

The solo queue times wouldn’t be affected because solo players are the majority. The only queue that would be affected would be the one that Groups could join, also being the one that solo players don’t want to join. If Group queue isn’t being filled, then that just speaks for itself. You can still play with friends in solo queue as well…

The OPR fanatics go in 5 man groups to work together but they want to stomp the competition. I have been in numerous discords where they encourage you to post lopsided wins. I guess they think that is competitive pvp… Proving time and time again that most pvp players will pvp when they know they will win. ROFLSTOP orbust.

I think it will be like arena queues. Trio queues take a long time, but solo queues are every few seconds or couple of minutes. Pre-made OPR queues might be long, but solo queues will be fast, especially if separating the queues drastically improves the experience like it did for arenas.

There’s hardly ever 2 OPRs going at once, and only the populated servers have instant queues.

You could kick the premades out and still say the same thing. Premades depend on solo players for full sign up and not the other way around.

No

This is true. I could group with my company mates but actually have no fun doing so cause it’s just a swarm mowing down solos. Very unrewarding. I much prefer going solo even if it means more than likely getting steamrolled…

Whereas the premades need the solos, there aren’t that many premades going on. On competitive servers company’s put premades together to practice for war. We can sit here and talk about it all day, but nothing is going to change with OPR until summer.

fix this

Removing the option for players to play with friends in never a good idea. Players that practice together should not be punished because people want to play solo. If you want to play solo run bow or musket. Or do what others have done and join a guild and practice with others so you can run a 5 stack as well.

All we need is a balancer to match the premade teams for both sides. Many players use OPR to smoothen the cooperation in their 5, so this will give them a chance to do it against another 5er. Fair enough.

There is more healers then your personal healers you know. I understand that it might s**** for you to not have a personal healer anymore but it s**** even more for all the solo queue players to play vs premades.

This is one of the reason there is so many players that use ranged weapon.
