No. Nerf all aim assist, not just the GA. For healing all they need to change is that it’s a free cast where you aim at the target to heal… you’re opposed to that why?
Yes, there’s no reason to have a lock. The game might as well be tab targeting. If they don’t change it, I’m cool with it but IMO this will not be considered a skillful competitive game.
You should try the musket and watch how much of an assist lock you get with it. It’s literally unbelievable lol
I haven’t noticed it on bow but musket does.
I play bow and there’s definitely no aim assist. Not sure about other weaps besides the crazy lunge range on hatchet/hammer

Its literally zero aim assist from what i can tell, like it should be tbh, now give me good crosshairs and shots that land in the center of that crosshair and we be gucci

This is just flat out misinformation.
The musket tracer feels misleading at times, but that’s because of how the ray is cast. There is certainly no aim assist. You could also be experiencing high ping, causing the damage to appear delayed and making it look like you damaged someone who you didn’t hit.
I play bow but I was leveling musket and bro it’s insane lol go peep it out you’ll be like wtf

At least give me an option to turn it off. Theirs aim assist on rapier and it’s sluggish and unwieldy. Might not be exactly aim assist, but they got some weird tracking on it when I’d rather it be free movement. Current use is very sticky.
GL hitting someone with leaping strike as a Sword/Shield or any similiar habilities without target lock. It’s a pain as it is
Musket has no aim assist, at least for me. It’s easier than the bow because it’s hitscan, but at no point has NW ever dragged my crosshair for me.
I felt it on mobs but didn’t feel it on players. That’s good I guess my fault.
Is that really an aim assist? I just started playing gaxe and it doesn’t snap the cursor. Unless you’re talking about the chase with light/heavy attacks.

Day 1 Musket player here, can confirm there is ZERO (0) aim assist for Musket, zero Aim assist on anything ranged in New World. Please stop spreading false information thanks!
Have you seen how small the individual heals are? No way in hell can I aim that at a moving target. The scroll thing is clunky enough to not waste my time on using it on anyone but myself. Sacred is fine as is.
