Remove Brutes from OPR or lower their HP

Tbh if brutes stay as they are now. They could be 750 azoth or even 1000 as “ultimate” minion. No point atm going for 4 bears since 1 brute is like 30x stronger.
Now its too easy to grind 500+ azoth in couple minutes.

I dont want to remove the pve. Just some adjustments and the brute is really annoying.

Brutes are OK as a PVE addition. They can hit hard and have a lot of HP, but not as much as they have right now. They are way stronger than Baroness.

They should have about 50-60% of HP they currently posses.

Just making it so the brutes don’t self heal would be huge. Nothing demoralizing as having the brute at half hp then it resets.

So you expect the opposition to monitor 6 areas on the map constantly to make sure nobody kills a monster for 30 seconds at a time? Get realistic.

If 3 players coordinate they can have 500 azoth within 2 minutes of game time.

You can even get that 500azoth solo in 2min as those mobs are super weak. You can even solo UG and DUG very easily with some weapons.

Brute should be 1k azoth if it stays as it is now. 500azoth is fine if it gets weakened by 50% hp wise.

Like you said. Its way stronger than baroness.

If you compare azoth cost. 4bears (125x4=500azoth) are 100x weaker than 1 brute. That one brute would easily eat up those 4 bears and those would just make dent to its hp.

You can also solo bear easily while brute can be hard.

Brute really makes bears kind of obsolete as theyre waste of azoth. If brute is 500azoth. Bear should be 25-50azoth to correlate azoth = power gain value.

Brute is meant to be “ultimate” summon so its justified if its 1000azoth or even 1250 azoth (worth 10bears)

I guess you’d better counterplay that, then. Or spawn your own brute.

They aren’t fine. They throw boulders through walls that do massive damage, basically whoever gets 2 brutes mid wins every single game. They need to drastically lower the HP or drastically increase the cost of azoth or hard cap the amount of brutes 1 team can have up at a time.

I think you should lower their hp and move them to the temple and make them some sort of mini baron boss.

Then don’t let the other team get 2 brutes in mid. Kill them and take the Azoth or kill them before they get to the circle and steal the brute token.

If I wanted to do PVE I’d go do Myrk, you are completely missing the point that they are completely unbalanced.

Orion you keep saying same thing again and again and dont read what people say. Even i said that its very easy to get 500azoth. I do it all the time. Very easy score and helps team to win by huge margin.

Also as brutes are so op. If you get to place brutes before enemy. Its almost guaranteed win because theyre very hard to replace aka kill and put own brute. Requires pretty much whole team to beat it for quite long time and you are easy targets for enemy team that could just drop some aoes and whole team is dead. Then brute regens to max hp.
This also forces team to focus on it and then lose fort or two or baron because theyre lacking manpower elsewhere. You can even solo/duo fight 5-10 enemies and win if brute helps you with boulders and pull.
Also that time you use to kill brute. Enemy can use same time and just get azoth for new brute. In same time or less time used. For 1-2 players vs half of the team beating brute.

While baroness you can easily duo or trio. Without healer.

Azoth cost for brute is joke. Like i said 4x bears arent anywhere close to brutes power and tankiness.

I would love to see a version of OPR where the PVE aspects of the experience actually mattered and could make/break games.
The problem is currently none of those aspects are polished and it doesnt feel like a whole lot of thought has gone into make OPR fit together, its like a half build jigsaw puzzle waiting to be finished.
With brutes it feels like someone just noticed how useless the PVE Guardian aspect of the mode was came up with a quick fix (give it loads of health!) and hoped that it would miraculously blend everything together.
Meanwhile the outpost gates can be destroyed stupidly quickly, the outer canons are immobile and deal awful damage, the repeaters are worse than just dealing damage.

This mode needs to be thought about a whole lot more, but in the short term brutes are better off not being relevant like all the other pve bits. Id rather a straight zerg over a zerg where I have to dodge flaming boulders constantly.

No. Brutes is good diversion. I don’t like them bu it is only way to win with way stronger team.

Its Simple limit where you can spawn your brute to , your side outpost and your half of the mid outpost.
That way brute can only be used defensive to balance out the match.
