Never said remove content just the ability to buy cosmetics until they get their shit together. Its like getting a poor work eval and then asking for a raise.
One of the world most successful video games in the world was made by a small indie company at the beginning and was more polished in Alpha than this game was at launch or even now. New World is made by AMAZON a multi billion dollar company and this is what we get, a buggy mess. So yes i will make that comparison and here’s another reason why, Ill let you know a little secret… they made millions without a cash shop and still had it as a “live service” game. They just added a cash shop when Realms was introduced. So an indie company can make a multi billion dollar game, but this is what we get from a multi billion dollar company. There is no excuse
Maybe all Amazon wanted from the beginning was to make an indie game. You asume to much.

You 100% sure adding new people to the team will fix the bugs faster? When you will need time from the experienced devs to walk them through what’s around, keep an eye so they don’t fall behind if the learning curve of their software gets overwhelming? Having them work on “Data mined” stuff to pile over a buggy base?
Skins are fine, is probably a small team doing content because a lot of people love to dress up their characters. The time spent on those skins is probably not even accounted for their programming deadlines and the updates to it go monthly when in several other mmos it can be weekly.
Just, don’t buy them and that’s it

Then work on adding the additional Weapons that have been datamined there are other things they could be doing to help with the actual development until the game is stable-ish
They allowed major news networks call it AAA, its not an indie game.
First, sorry you had that issue for launching. So far for me, I haven’t met a game breaking bug that rends it unplayable on my side.
Second, someone working on skins is most likely gonna be working with models and blender or whatever art studio they have. These people are a world apart from the actual developers in charge of the game itself. Unless a dev is passionate about modeling this things, you won’t find them stepping on each other fields easily because you weren’t hired for that.
They are working on fixing bugs and such, sadly (imho), they are also working on more content.
Then they could work on the new weapons and their models to further the game until the game is stable. Also thanks, it is what it is but it suck
How do you know they aren’t?
They would get a weapon model ready and other devs would go by adding physics, animations, ranges to its actions and many more.
If they already pushed content for this that’s still not out (Data mined), why can’t they work on skins or cosmetics then?
Because it does nothing to better the core game that is broken. You dont think devs are working on the cash shop come on now…

Like is said there are dev working on the cash shop to they have to add the code for purchases ect so its not just 3d artists
You could simply have an endpoint with the assets displayed in the cash shop, have your artists upload the files to whatever storage they use and the store (which was already done) will simply display what’s there.
At most 1 guy would spend some minutes to verify the available stuff is in line with what they expect. (This actually a QA not a dev)

Isn’t the shop like what I said before… When you get a terrible work eval, you don’t end the conversation with asking for a raise. You improve and then you get to ask not before

Why do you need to have the cash shop removed just don’t use it.
Problem solved. If I wanna spend money on new world that’s my decision .
Currently I am not because the dyes don’t work half the time on regular armor and you can’t dye skins
Doesn’t mean other people shouldn’t be able to choose that option
