Remove immortality death defy from hatchet

Every build almost use hatchet now days. Its not cuz the wep is op But death defy is. It can save u from so many deaths even with a 75sec cd.

Healers/muskets everyone use it. Maybe its not saving them everytime But its still just unfun 75sec annoying passive that breaks the game.

Its even u fair in pve u can skip any mechanic with it.

How about not and use the advantages of your build that you chose instead effing with hatchet. It has one good skill…leave it be.

start using a void gauntlet as your utility weapon. there solved it for you.

Im sure immortality Will be removed sooner or later. It doesnt fit into the game the same way 360 aoe riposte didnt fit into the game :slight_smile:

If your group doesnt have a vg your doing it wrong. And if you dont have a group your doing it even worse

There is alot of 1v1 going on in this game, Im not gonna be forced to hold hand with a vg or use a vg myself.

360degree riposte was a lot different than a 10point mastery talent that gives you 3 extra seconds every 90s

Defy Death should prevent the attack that triggered it from killing you, and then reduce all damage taken for the duration. Absolutely no ability should make someone immune to all damage, at least not for more than 1 second. The length of Defy Death is broken, and it’s disparing to see mutated content get buffed as a result of a few broken perks, punishing everyone who doesn’t exploit the broken weapons.

How about actually adapting to game’s mechanics? It seems like a lot of people lack adaptation skills and flexibility…

this is the one area I can agree on for pve an invul like that in any other game is on a long CD and scripted around 1shot tank busters where it alternate bw invul use on the tank and mitigation from the healer to resolve all the sources over a fight duration.

Living Dead may be a better rework as a PvE skill as it would fit thematically with the game and create more synergy bw healer and hatchet user or require sufficient sustain from the hatchet user to not die when the ability resolves.

how about Berserk? Berserk can cleanse stun (the strongest cc). Hatchet players can activate it when they are in stun animation.

Right along with Grav well. An aoe pull, root, and slow doesn’t belong in the game.
