As the title say, i don’t understand why we have to wait so much to get leaderboard rewards.
You could diversify so much things just by doing a weekly ranking. Even 2 weeks ranking sound good.
Firstable, it will stabilize the game because it will allow players to manage their week as they want (holidays or not) for new and old players. Because the system you currently developed (quarterly ranking) will discourage players to play if they know IRL stuff comes out.
Plus, one day after the release, we already started to be discouraged by all those statpadders and organised teams. Maybe you could keep tracking “record” during the quarterly but we all know the way you designed this leaderboard isn’t great for this game.
You have to work on how you see what your community want, how to maximize the playtime value for each content of the game, pve and pvp, casuals and try harder. And I think it start by adding more value to the game with a new vision of your rewards.
You are not blind, as you can see on this forum or reddit => We don’t like your skins, we don’t like your prime gaming rewards (even the value of it isn’t interesting for a new player). Because you don’t play your game.
So try to imagine what a casual and a try harder player need :
- Golds, Mats, craft patterns, trophies, skins and so on. (not 10 starmetal ingots right ?)
Are you afraid to give us a 20k gold reward because you think it will destroy the economy ? Isn’t that destroyed already ? Bots ? items who cost more than a gold cap ? Tier website for gold selling ?
So it is just a little feedback about leaderboard. I spent a lot of time in this game and i still play, but this is not the case for everyone. This forum is turning in a toxicity fest so check this out.
