I can’t imagine taking opr seriously enough to spend actual in game currency on consumable to use in that game mode! It’s cheaper just to let them kill me

They need to add sharpening stones for melee weapons so they have to pay for it just like range has to buy ammo.

I’ve eaten over 10,000 powerful honing stones from opr. Its not that big of a deal. I honestly think dust & balm should just be removed, terrible mechanics… But to your point… I guess?
Just make them as 1 defensive potion. Balsams and powders are not a big deal anyway they have long cooldown and this buff in clump fight lasts few seconds. Why people are so cheap xd HP potion is 0,02g HP regen is 2,80-3,40 g. Elemental powder 25% is also around 2g….

Musket and bow do need ori ammo to play this weapons full potential. While mele or mage weapons do not need anything added. Thats the reason ammo is unlimited and it should be like that.
Pots are cheap as hell also - they are used by all players while ammo only by range players.
Thats why pots and other consumables are not unlimited and ammo is. To make everyones cost on same lvl.

In order to not be dead and play at full potential i have to pop gemstone dust, which also is not cheap.

Everyone does, including range.
Everyones has to if they chose to use. But not everyone has to pay for ammo or arrows.

agree. as a crafter i kinda hated this change. Ranged is worthless in PvE and they do not need ammo for PvP so there is almost no market for selling bullets and arrows.
melee users literally using 3x the pots and consumables as ranged users in opr though lmao.

Melee just trying to make it worse for bows in any petty way they can because frankly, they’re haters 
Pots and other stuff needed for pvp are dirt cheap though. 1 day of daily crafts will buy a massive amount of any potions that you need. I dont pve much and I do not craft or do dungeons for money and I have 10s of thousands of the bet healing and regen potions in multiple banks.

you can use the free unlimited flint ones.
Why are different tier of arrows and bullets even a thing… It only makes balancing harder.
Don’t give them the idea. A lot of people either stopped using bow/musket or left the game because they needed to spend all their time making ammo.
Tip for avoiding ranged. Walk around the rocks. Lots of them on the map.
