Yet here you are… in the forums of a game you don’t play… to complain about features that don’t impact you.

I mean not trying to out myself, but I sadly just browse the forums instead of playing because I wish they would make changes that are exciting. There’s no way to tell what the devs are going to actually do next until the patch notes are live because it seems to contradict feedback and/or what’s previously said.
I want to play, I just can’t find the fun anymore.

Can’t wait to never play OPR. Scuffed game mode with no role queue or balancing.

they implemented the NO penalty because the games can crash and kick u out of the match out of the blue.
So have fun being locked out of OPR because u lagged.

Lol ok. At least get your facts correct, it was removed because there was a bug with looking at the scoreboard would kick you from OPR. A specific issue that has since been resolved.
Sure crashes happened, and an hour is probably be too long (30 min is probs better). But it’s better for the game having the penalty back, otherwise those who actually care about leaderboards (not me) would abuse it consistently
u still get kicked out of match and u still can get the unrespawnable bug.
Everytimes one of those happen 1h cooldown for OPR.
How to solve?
if u leave a match u get a loss, ez.
Meanwhile, the top companies still get massive amounts of free gold by holding multiple territories… But let’s nerf the solo chest runner instead…

So tired of this model. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves with this game. Super Welfare Program for the Super Companies. I find it truly disgusting.

Exactly…lol, what a trash move to bring back the penalty. Internet goes down, you crash. Have fun skinning alligators for an hour

Yeah unfortunately AGS took the easiest path as usual, and simply re-instituted the old Penalty rules for leaving matches earlier, rather than actually address the issue head on (make leave early matches count as a loss, how simple is that lol?).
I won’t be playing new world until they revert this decision. Not going to waste an extra hour of my life in between game for technical glitches on NW’s end. Not worth the time. I might have 3-4 hours max in a given day to play NW. If 10-30% of my matches are unplayable due to technical glitches (can’t move, can’t use abilities, game crashes, etc etc), and I play 4 arenas and 3 OPR’s a day, that will be an average extra downtime of 2 hours a day due to glitches, when I can’t actually play the game.
I’m not going to go to chest runs/M10’s or harvest, I’m going to stop playing, it’s just that simple.

I tell you, this patch gives me the utmost confidence in their “very soon” balance patch.
Glad they saw the mass amounts of threads on here about people complaining about how those 28 chests were ruining the economy, and took decisive action!
Leaderboards, and removing 28 chests! The two things at the top of everyone’s wish list! Go AGS!

Because the rich solo chest runner owns the entire market.
Instead of fixing the bot problem, which you apparently don’t have the proper skills for, you just remove chests and punish solo players?

This is the reason the game is dying. Balance problems, late game content is meh, and these ignorant people decide to do what? Remove some chests, cause that is the cause why 95% of people quit the game after a few weeks of playing. Typical Amazon move. I hope they read these forum posts that have appeared after patch 1.8.2 and see the trash they have made.
