I will be in the queue for about an hour or two, then I get an expired token exception and the game is unable to refresh to view servers and it will attempt to return to the login queue but the number no longer goes down.
My internet connection is relatively stable at about 180ms ping to server, but the error is infuriating.
Oh, I think I may have found the cause of this bug. If a user’s system time is incorrect (I had mine set to HST time but the timezone was set to PST), they will get repeated expired token exceptions.
Maybe the server checks a token expiration against its clock and you issue the token against the user’s local clock?
