they are dealt with if banned early on. the concept of botting today I assume is to just use up the ags copies they own before its thrown away by either leveling the account or selling gold as from what Ive seen in my server in Pluto. we been crowd checking them and getting them banned early on since the owner of these needs to pay 40 bucks to even repeat. then you have your actual players that user scripts to bot which makes it I assume harder to track and ban.
I found that reporting bots through the website a lot more cooperative with them checking out bots Report a Player or Company - Support | Amazon Games
I reported 2 bots that have been in my server for 2 weeks spamming text but i took pictures and sent a report and it got feedback and they got banned 2 days later.
I reported a bot through the Amazon Games Support system and they sent me back a ban appeal denial.
It’s a farce.
All bots on my Orun are still active. @Customer-Service let’s get the ball rolling on these bots. many people have reported these bots and literally none have been banned.
It’s funny and probably a coincidence but after I joined that server to grab the names of all those bots and post their in-game status on the forum above, my account is now perma banned for cheating.
So I called it, the report bots doesn’t work then. that’s why they disabled it.
I think we need to have sort sort of celebration when the first bot on Orun hits 60. A couple of them have passed 40.
Only one or two of bots are offline. @Customer-Service so far the bots accounts for about 10% of the server population as of this post.
This is only accounting for the ones I’ve found. So I wouldn’t be surprised some Servers are at 15% bots 85% real players.
Week 3+ of reporting bots in Outpost Rush like kdopw on the Camelot server. All this bot does is shoot an auto attack and crouch every few seconds at the spawn. If killed it doesn’t even respawn. Super low-effort bot. Everyone reports it because of how blatantly obvious this thing is.
If this super-simple bot hasn’t been banned and is running Outpost Rush 24/7 day after day, week after week, what hope is there for catching and banning the more advanced bots and afkers? Outpost Rush is so unfun and basically ruined for anyone who wants fair competitive games until they address this. One out of every five players on the Camelot server is a bot or afker. Absolutely ridiculous.
Well, thats actually better than having a dead server with no OupostRush at all isn’t it? I would be happy if those bots were active on our servers OR. No OR for days.
Of course its a problem if you are on an active well populated server and I agree this should be fixed as soon as possible. Maybe AGS can create some bots for OR?
That sounds more like something server mergers should be fixing and/or cross server queues could fix.
Although if they did add cross server OR queues I imagine they’d spin up entire games of 20/20 bots. Lol.
Youd think a company releasing a MMO in 2021 would have had an action plan/strategy for botting.
Wow. I am absolutely stunned at the level of ineptitude here. First of all, it should not have taken you so long to get feedback from AGS, especially with your level of documentation.
Secondly, the fact that a GS responded with a side step and “I don’t know what to do either“ is inexplicable, inexcusable, and makes me want to give up playing this game.
These bonds are literally like cancer cells within the environment; running around degrading the economy, clogging up resource nodes, And completely discouraging real players from playing the game.
Once again, it is the honest people who get the shit end of the stick - The real players are either going to stop playing or start botting themselves to even the playing field.
This is absolutely ridiculous.

Well, they did not respond with “I don’t know what to do either”, but It is not their department and they will forward it to the correct one, since they cannot handle it and is not their field in CS.
meanwhile they nerfed the minimap addon to the ground while all the bots are still running around. i like how they prioritize things

Issue: APOOZ has been botting on my server outside of Everfall (to the east) for as long as I could remember. I have reported them in-game roughly 3 times and made amazongames web player reports against them maybe 2 times. I think I also mentioned them when I was in live chat getting super angry about the fishing bots because I’m a fisherman. APOOZ has been running like… 24/7 i’m assuming for who knows how many weeks now. They have (I would assume) have received dozens if not hundreds of reports for them being a gathering bot at this point, but they are still here… welling their green wood and now probably aptitude items that instantly get bought by other players on the market. I am unsure how this bot gets their items to their main account… sending it directly to them? Laundering it through the market with buy orders? I dont know… all I know is they have been running continuously since I first started cutting wood in this area, maybe a month ago or more.
I bet if they sorted their “bot behavior” reports by # of reports, they would find that there are probably dozens of reports against players who when observed do nothing but one action in a specific path. I’ve even sent in a video of them doing it for christ’s sake…
This is just one single bot. I also see Yggdr the player still running around after he was doing some fishing and mining botting, and also mydera the bot gathering ore in the mountains.
Reporting bots is useless, On Krocylea us east, there is alot of bots, one in particular is annoying, named Ledercraft lvl 60 syndicate factioned, standing in the bottom of the ship in fort damnation ( Restless shore ) farming all the Oricalcum. He is there every day for hours with out end just farming the nodes, i have provided screen shots, videos of him trying to farm the nodes that i ninjaed from him, video shows typical afk mining and bot behavior. Nothing happens, he is stil there every day farming away. The report system is a joke!

I understand that everyone is concerned about player beings bots or using bots intermittently.
We take exploiting and cheating very seriously at Amazon Games and strict action is taken against any one who violates the TOS.
I have checked quite a few characters that were reported above and found actions have been taken on them as per our policies.
Rest assure each case is handled based on its own merits and appropriate action taken is taken by our moderator.
I would request you to continue your support and always report such character in game since that would ensure correct action is taken against those players.
