Just tested with my friend. Wearing 520 medium faction helmet and replaced it with a 520 medium green helmet with 50/50 defense splits.
I took exactly 4.5 more damage with the 520 green helmet on.
I have a onyx gem in my pvp faction helmet so we tested with the ice gauntlet.
Resilience also reduces the crit multiplier on crits taken just like it’s supposed to.
