Hello - I have reported two resource harvesting bots on autoscripts. The most recent report included video of both bots which I submitted about two weeks ago. Yesterday, I noticed both script bots online and farming resources via script so I sent a status update asking what was being done and how long the investigation would take.

I would like to know how long it takes for an investigation into resource script botting to occur (violation of TOS). There are already enough economy issues on our server and the resource bots (gold sellers I would guess) are not helping. It is very frustrating to collect all the data and nothing seems to be happening with regard to these two bots. Just trying to create a level playing field and improve the community here.
I am not going to post the response I got from customer service but the answer I received was basically non-responsive with regard to how long these investigations take and left me with a feeling of sub-standard customer service.
Appreciate any assistance anyone from AGS can provide with this issue.

While I do not have the answers you are looking for, I will certainly pass this thread along to the developers. I can’t be certain they’ll get a chance to review it or respond before you hear back or see results from the investigation, but you can know for sure I am sending them your request for more info/insight right now. I moved servers so not sure if any action was taken. I have seen other bots using the same script (or at least the exact same pathing) Based on the length of time for the team to investigate, etc. it doesn’t seem to be worth my limited gaming time to make videos and link them for the purpose of helping to provide evidence for violation of TOS.
That said, I think AGS should strongly consider paid or volunteer GMs to immediately address reports of resource bots, etc. I personally believe the resource bots, and the gold they generate, are having huge impacts on the game economy in a negative way.
