Aside from the respawn timer perhaps the musket/rapier build isn’t optimal for PvE?
Not being a metagamer this may not be accurate.
Watching that combo in PvP has raised questions as to whether that kind of quick movement and ranged dps are appropriate for the tight quarters that PvE often puts players.
No dispute here as to that build currently being a superior PvP build. However, benefits in PvP are not always benefits in PvE.
Just something to think about and maybe investigate. Perhaps it’s not the build being problematic in PvE but the use of the build may be significantly different from the PvP one.
musket/rapier can do well in PvE as long as it is single target.
as I can do backroll headshot kiting easily (given if there is enough space). and when they get close, swap to rapier riposte, then swap back to musket place trap (which give you heal)
I can kite almost everything forever, when I was leveling, I can easily kite and kill elite 2 to 3 level above my character too.
but fast respawn timer make it that they respawn faster than I kill if there is multiple of them
