So nowhere on forums or in patch update did New World devs inform players that their company cooldowns were in effect before this update. An update which was designed to fix issues, when in reality it has damned most of us to losing territory or company members. A lot of us thought we had until 5am today to make sure we were all in the proper company so we could defend our land, but low and behold, AGS has once again dropped the ball with transparency, and anyone who swapped companies yesterday or even two days ago is already on cooldown. We have a war tomorrow that most of us cannot even sign up for. This is an egregious error on your part, and you should cancel any wars within the next three days. Everyone was under the impression company cooldown went into effect today, but by retroactively having cooldown already be in effect after such a massive change to wars, you have screwed so many people out of territories they fought for and have poured money into. If AGS has any decency, they will cancel all wars for the next 3 days so people can actually get their feet underneath themselves and prepare for the changes. Show me where you said changes are already in effect and I’ll hold my tongue. But as far as I can tell you have blatantly disregarded your obligation to your player base and been more than vague about these changes.
Pretty sure they talked about this in the december dev update video which means there was at least 5 days notice.
Edit: confirmed. Its the first thing they talk about in the timestamped “territory” section of the video.
They undid cooldown. I saved NW. You are all welcome.
It said it when you leave a company for the last month. Yes I do agree though it is a terrible way to implement this feature.

Wow, really wish they wouldn’t have rolled this back. Bunch of folks abusing the shell company mechanics got caught off-guard, why should we feel bad for them?
