simple solution would be to allow azoth staff to do something slotted, like slow regen of azoth. I don’t mind getting azoth but it shouldnt be an hour or two farming that just to play the game.

3 house TP’s, a recall and azoth thats cheaper than an orichalcum ingot. How in the world do you have problems moving around the map?
You sir are correct. If you have to log into farm azoth first thing… Slap in the face… Awful design for a travel system… Just make it a low amount of coin…
Have azoth used for crafts… I guess it needs some use… I even vote to reduce that cost
And BTW the winter event is trash… Boring grind fest… Running around collecting presents… The first one was cool. Traveling to every town and winter village to collect… WTF is this sad excuse for an event. I thought we’d be fighting many more winter warriors with much more land covered in snow… Thought it would be like game of thrones when the white walkers would take over an area…
And glea omfg cool but again not going to chase is to collect yet again… where’s the fucking action… How about some gleabeast or glemites!!

I used to have issue with Azoth and then I started to regularly do portal runs and now I rarely do. So either do that or join some Outpost Rush.
Its amazing how opinion meets such toxic responses on this forum. I don’t think it is all mmorpg just pvp focused ones brings out a lot of people who are toxic.
Think I am done with these forums. you can say goodbye now. Give feedback to the devs on what you want nerfed/ buffed and forget there is a bigger game than just that.

Main reason I am taking a very long break, just a bore-fest of walking.
I have over 1100 hours in the game and I have never once been below 200 Azoth so you all that complain and bitch about Azoth costs are doing something wrong. You shouldn’t have to “farm Azoth”, lol

Corrrect, never once been below 200. Levels 1-20 I walked everywhere and explored the map. I enjoyed it personally. I didnt need to use it until mid-30s if I remember correctly. There are ways to get it without trying so I dont understand why people still complain about it.

The game is what you make of it. If it bores you, try something else. When you define grind as having to progress to do and see more, every game has a grind. Imagine reaching the highest level in a game a mere few months after it launches. This game is most certainly not as hard to level in as past games like Lineage or even artifacts in DAOC TOA.
If you travel around that much that you lowered your Azoth to 50, then maybe you need to be more selective in your travel habits, or buy a house or 2, farm some portals, run some easy quests (every quest grants some azoth), aptitude presents for trade skills over 200, buy some azoth, etc. There really are so many ways to get Azoth.
There are issues with NW, azoth is not one of them.
I am not sure how OP could possibly play any MMO, they all have various travel time sinks. Azoth is actually easy to get, especially at 60, and allows for the fastest travel around the world than any MMO I have ever played. Just think of WoW and the really long and boring flying we used to do. The runs in NW take less time than those flight paths. At 60 azoth flows freely and I teleport about, if I run out so what? Setting an auto-run is easy and takes a few minutes. This particular whine is old and stale.
I started a new character, believe it or not. The biggest quality of life improvement for me is that 100 coin in the presents. If that had been around back during the second great Trading Post shut down, I might not have deleted my old character.
Vial of suspended azoth is cheap. OPRs gives you Azoth.
Nobody I know has been complaining about azoth. Stop trolling.
There are WAY MORE BUGS that causes players to be frustrated at the game play like the movement bug, or the weapon swapping, than having no azoth cause you are not doing content.
Less and less each day it seems.
Well the number of players online has been stable for a few weeks now and may even be increasing, so I do not believe your assertion.
