Maybe you didnt read the whole thread, but I didnt make this topic. I just replied to the topic creator, then I stated my own facts. Thank you.
If valheim looked anything like new world, it might mean something. But the world has very little in the way of complex anything.
It’s easy to create loads of neat little things in a sandbox like that. New World requires a much bigger workload to produce things. This has always been the way with feature MMO’s. The ones doing great right now have years, and years of content. They all went through growing pains, and different phases. Only time will tell at this point.
The Valheim world is a copy paste indeed, pretty much like New World. Both games have similar amount of mob/enemy variation. New World tried to copy Valheim by adding houses and furniture, but they cant get close to the Valheim building. Not even close.
Well to be fair they DID have very neat player building structures in alpha. But people built crazy stuff that was just about defense and didn’t look anything like a real house or fort. So they threw it in the trash. It didn’t fit their vision, and they didn’t want to prevent players from making what they wanted either. So instead of making “premade houses” that they could drop on the ground they scrapped the whole thing altogether.
I was not happy about that.
The next two seasons will be crucial.

I like both games but I’m actually enjoying New World right now. Haven’t played Valheim for months now. Got tired of slow updates.

You seem angry and very easily triggered. When someone has an opinion thats different from yours, that doesnt mean the other person is crying. I am still playing this game from time to time. However, I cant help but praise Valheim for the product they made and all of their achievements. When it comes to content Valheim is basically mopping the floor with a AAA studio.

Go and play Valheim then. It’s a decent game… go have fun. This is the New World forum. If you’ve got constructive feedback to offer that could help the devs, offer it, otherwise you’re just a dark cloud.
I came back and I am thoroughly enjoying New World. The only thing I like more about Valheim is that you can build and sail on the ocean.
New World is getting better.

In forms of content Valheim added like a few new mobs and a cave
New world added a new dungeon, new weapons, arenas, new progression systems (some good some meh) as well as a bunch of other random shit
Can’t wait for the mistlands drop tho

This is why I have been calling for things like transmog and seasonal faction story arcs etc, things to do at endgame is so important.

Guys why do you even mention this new knights as new mobs ? We have no engagements with them at all. They just have a camp 
It’s not like there’s dungeon with them or they do anything. New dungeon that it’s beautiful inside with old bosses. It is better to have “new” dungeon than not having it ofc. There’s 0 content! On another note the game it’s better in terms of combat and changed a lot but we’ve been fighting the same stuff since release basically 
I’m still playing because I like the game! This no content it’s slowly killing my enthusiasm. That new dungeon we gonna murder 50 times in no time. Let us all have wars of some sort and get something ranked finally. They planing leaderboards for winter with that new region buts there’s months till then and more people leave and than new ones are starting the game. I bet that brand new player can probably complete all the content for a month casual playing
