I reached lv60 before all the MSQ changes happened with Brimstone Sands, and also now with this new patch. Can I somehow do the new missions with my character, or do I have to start with a new one?
I mean, does the game let me take those new missions somehow even if I already reached lv60 before those changes? I don’t know if they changes with today’s patch are similar to the ones with Brimstone Sand patch (I read today they changed some zones until lv40, while Brimstone Sand was the first 1-30 levels or so).
They reset the MSQ when Brimstone launched and you can do the entire questline again if you wish, theres two starting locations Windsward and Monarchs Bluff, they are both different.
Im not sure how its going to be after patch but I would assume its the same with more added on, the patch notes say something about questline resetting. Edited!
oh nice! i did not know all this, thanks! So I can go to the starter zone as if I was lv1 and pick the new starting quests and do al the revamped new player experience levelling even being max level? I am not just talking about the “local zone” quest, but about the main story quests (I read there are new cinematics now and Isabella dialogues whispering to you etc). Can I also experience that?
If you completed most or all of the main quest before, I don’t think you can experience all of it again. There may be snippets or references if you do the Windsward/Monarchs local zone quests, but I don’t think you can repeat the majority of it. If you got to level 60 without much main quest progress then it’s likely you can see the revised version.
I finished the main quest before the first MSQ update and I was able to see and do the new 1-25 main quests during the brimstone release. With the new update tho I can’t find the main quest on the map. Anyone know how to access it? It’s a shame if we can’t
