Literally just killing off the player base. Revert the 1 attack/defense a day please, the Wars are the content.

And luckily more than 100 people on a server of 1000s can enjoy it now. Best change they’ve made get over yourself.

Would finally times the cross server instances implemented could one e.g. training wars cross server implement.

But the important things have no high priority

Agree though, the 10 merc limit along with 1 def and atk a day will cause territories to flip constantly, downgrade constantly and still the same mega companies will be able to fill 40 ppl at least at ease vs smaller companies that relied on mercs. Once every city is constantly downgraded, double dec’d and have 45v50 wars, maybe changes will be made

I think its funny people are making these arguments uhhhh TWO days into the changes lol. You need to give things time. Most of your server is used to being excluded and probably doesn’t even know they might have a shot at wars yet.

No, it’s not killing off the player base. Wars have been - for the most part - the content for maybe 100-150 people on a server. I’m glad AGS keeps trying to hammer nails into the coffins of shell companies and I’m all for every step they take in that direction.

Wars not directly tied to territory control will be a thing down the road, and when they arrive I fully expect the war loggers to start complaining there isn’t enough on the line, enough of a reward, and keep right on complaining on behalf of the shell company model.

When this is what the shell company model looks like I’ll feel better about the game:

No, this was a good change. People want other guilds to own land and this is helping with guild recruitment. Its boring when one faction owns everything and this gives other people the options to do wars. If you were new to the game you would never get slotted so them people would never get any practice. Now it opens up the content for everyone and a much better experience for the player base.

OFC all the mass of PVPERS leave the game because no content/balance, but don’t worry, soon u (casual PVEERS, farmers of cd’s for no crafts, and bots) gonna be the only players of New World.
i said casual pveers because even try harders of PVE leave the game (chestruns and 7 dungeon in the game are the only pve content LOL ?)

You are absolutely right, I came to New World to find open world PVP and we have this…
I agree that the PVE is not better and it’s the future of the game that is in question.

The attack and defense limit is not really the problem. The asymmetrical merc limit is. They should be symmetrical across the board. 15 at a minimum, perhaps more for the side territories based on their income bracket.

You ppl had that content for youself for over a year. So welll no. Go away rotfl.

Typical toxic pvper in a nutshell. Nothing more to say.

Basically whats happening on my server now is that yellows keep double and triple pushing territories as they cannot win any legit war. They own the most territories now including everfall and ebonscale. We now have to waste our time pushing the territories to easily take it back with a 10min attack war. But then theyll just double or triple push again (+ bribe random people into finishing a push to mess up war times). This is all because of the war limit too :joy: im not even gonna bother getting into the fact that the limit is broken and doing any war uses up the cooldown for both types of wars
