Rework Firestaff

This is getting even more nerfed in the upcoming patches… light rolls and shirk energy nerfs aside. Meteor Shower and Efficient burnout are taking hits.

It was already a C tier weapon that is hardly slottable (maybe 1 or 2 slots max in competitive wars)

It lacks true range. fire rate, and now all of the CQC options are massively less powerful….

You can get off 3 bow shots (heavy, light, pen) for every 1 heavy Firestaff attack. With far more range. For example. Even now people with muskets are figuring out animation cancels to shoot ADS quicker than a Firestaff heavy attack,

Firestaff is hardly a ranged weapon with how it is currently…. Now they nerf it even more on CQC stuff.

AGS you have to at least give us 1 redeemable trait for it….

And don’t say Flamethrower…. It can be countered so easy. A simple light attack from hatchet , spear, and sword knocks you out of the flamethrower animation.

Burnout is finally getting grit where the soft touch of a breeze cancels it and that’s a step in the right direction.

Suggestions:

Something needs to be redeemable here… anything.

If you intend it to be a CQC style weapon you need to rework incinerate and make that animation quicker,

If you intend it more for range purposes then you need to quicken the heavy attack and up the damage because it’s ungodly slow compared to every other ranged weapon.

If no reduction to animation time on incinerate or meteor shower (which is now completely useless) then they need to replace one of those with a stun or a root of some kind .
