I realize this is a PVP game … but can you please do something about an invasion taking 5 upgrades away ever 3 or 4 days.
Second the ability to gain influence should be directly tied to the war window. We spend 12 hours yesterday being attacked which yes its pvp but between that and corruptions and losing your upgrades this game is starting to drive players away. People don’t want to spend every minute of their play time defending the onslaught from no lifers who live in their mom’s basement.
Asking for clarification:
Are you saying that the ability for an opposing faction to do PvP missions and build influence your territory should only be allowed in the same 30 minute window that you have set for when wars can happen?
I’m saying there should be a 3 hour vulnerability window. forcing pvp for 15 hours a day is bullshit. There are other things to do in this game and it seems to me this is their answer to end game content spawn more corruptions … take away all your upgrades so you can’t keep up then add pvp non stop so if you want to defend you spend your entire time in your said territory. There are better ways to approach it. SWG did it right by having a vulnerable window. That’s when you defended.
This game is centered around taking territory. You already control when the war happens. You don’t have to fight them in your territory to keep them from getting influence, that is optional. You can just defend whenever war is declared.
Setting a window for when others can build influence against you is a bit far I would think in allowing you to control how others play.
And while you are certainly entitled to your opinion, I know the PvP players on my server are more than happy to fight anytime and anywhere and actually wish it happened more regardless of whose territory it was in.
so basically you are saying everyone else should control your game play because thats how you want it. I’m saying there should be more to the game than being slammed with corruptions and then a 24/7 vulnerability.
No, I am saying no one should control anyone’s gameplay. You want to limit other people’s PvP play because the current system is inconvenient to you. You already can control when they actually fight their war, that should be enough.
No one is forcing you to fight in your territory to try and stop them from building up influence, that is totally a decision you are making.
If you want to own a territory then you better have people ready to defend it. If you don’t want to defend whenever needed then get rid of your territory this isn’t hard.
I honestly don’t give a F)&K what your opinion is. The entire post is about balancing game play rather than throwing more corruptions on top of corruptions and then 24/7 defense. That is called content rather than actually creating some content. I don’t care if you disagree or not. We already know you are gonna talk shit here just like you do in world chat.
