So with the upcoming PTR patchnotes confirmed can we please get some sort of nerf/change to the “one shot” bb combo? How do we get refreshing move removed, but the 1 shot combo does not get touched at all?
On another note, without refreshing move the blunderbuss is currently horrible. Removing refreshing move would have been fine if it actually did DAMAGE. The bb will need a buff to overall damage both normal shots/skills (outside of shrapnel) and give it a reason to actually be used.
I definitely regret leveling up engineering to craft this weapon. I’d be happy if they dropped 50k in my inventory and set the level back to 0.
And doesn’t make sense put vicious in pirate’s piece. Keen and keenly fortified are the perks for named tank weapons, like curiosity greed and earthbinder warhammer.
Did Blunderbuss die or something. I have a bunch of 595+ blunderbusses sitting nobody’s buying, with BiS perks.

lol yea I tried it myself a few times you have to be really really close to target to put any damage. They might as well just removing it and putting it on the tip of Axes/Hammers. lol
often times bb doesnt hit at all and the pellets scattered above your target and goes off to the sky
BB refreshing move, since theres 1 named and a faction, let it be. They shouldnt release something then change it later. Now if there were numerous drops with refreshing move, like the blackguard weapons having plague crits, I can see that, but cmon. Prettty soon all the weapons will be the same with no variety.
I think it’ll be fine without refreshing move. Probably just need to actually invest in one of those CDR masteries.
Dude. The thing does massive damage.
I have 8 refreshing atm and it does not. Also no it does not do massive damage, the only build that does with bb is the light s&s cheese 1 shot build.
You can do that with any weapon with a stagger.
You can set the same thing up with perf (if you get the stagger) + vault kick for example.
You don’t even need shield bash to do it. If you’re very quick, you can do the combo off of just the leaping strike stagger.
BB can literally set its own combo up with blast shot or if you wait for a recovery animation to claw, shoot, shrapnel.
I’ve been one shotting people all week man. There are videos out there…you can’t say that it doesn’t do dmg.
There is videos out there of people 1 shotting “light” users without the s&s combo and little con. Link me a video of someone running around one shotting medium/heavy users.
It doesn’t. It chunks the hell out of them. Again, been doing it all week.
.also how is it considered cheese, but at the same time apparently does no damage to the majority of players(those who wear med or heavy)
I totally regret leveling engineering, farming my butt off in dynasty, and crafting full sets of armor for a gun that’s just getting nerfed. So much regret. Gg AGS, g f g.

Fr though. I got pirates piece and I had already figured there was no shot it stayed on there. Figured I would have some fun with it for a few days.
This is just like plagued strikes on the blackguard weapons man. Just expect it

Sad thing was it may have been “busted” but without it the bb was underwhelming and a waste of a weapon slot. (Without a 1 shot build)
I wasn’t expecting Blunderbuss to be their absolute highest priority balance issue in the entire game. It’s literally the only actual balance change they’ve made in the entire supposed balance patch. Hats off to you if you predicted that Blunderbuss would be deemed the only and most unbalanced thing in the game.
