Yeah so why are people asking for ranged nerfs on the weapon when it’s literally designed to function at said range?

The primary difference here is that with BB you’re in the middle of melee combat. The Musket doesn’t require that kind of close combat whatsoever.
Oh I’m very well aware of this, I’m just emphasizing that fact because the people complaining or asking to nerf the Musket want the Musket to be used “within” close/mid-range combat even though the weapon was strictly specifically designed for long-range engagements…

It kind of is without Refreshing Move. For PvE Azoth Shrapnel is the only good ability without Refreshing Move. Splitting Grenade is solid, but the cooldown makes it barely worth having.

Why the hell would you wade into skirmishing range with a standoff weapon, while having the health pool of a underfed gerbil?
Its actual cringe, if you play this weapon and are not every OPR round at least top 10 and have less deads then every DPS that did at least a bit damage.
Since I played BB 90% of my rounds were like this.

Blunderbuss still feels decent despite this nerf, but it sure isn’t as fun. AGS let a bunch of bugs in the game, wars are messed up, shields buffing other weapons, yet they couldn’t leave one of the most entertaining parts of the game in. ![]()
The state of BB is silly. You see players walk up to someone and just drop them like no other weapon can. Rince repeat every 10 seconds or so. I don’t blame the kids playing what ever build is the most noob friendly for the day is. But it’s really scary that AGS don’t seem to be having any sense of what they implement and the effect it has on actuall gameplay.
I call for a dev video where they go OPR on live servers. Let them play what ever build that is not meta. Have fun.
Bring back refreshing move on BB. It only works if your close enough to land shots as it is. You have stated that this new weapon reaps carnage. But it don’t unless you can get close to someone. And when you do, getting 5pellets on someone isn’t easy unless they standing still. So bring back refreshing move. And stop breaking the rest of the game. Bb was hella fun. Now it’s u shoot twice and to reload WALKING! Atleast with refreshing move you could protect yourself better. The most fun I’ve had in game for monthssssss went down all because you removed refreshing move. People are complaining about the burst damage. Ahhh ^^ it. Do what you want. It’s your game I’m sure u AG’s n Jeff can play together
wait what? I know we are not talking about the current iteration of the BB… Because everyone in OPR is using it like the new ICE SPIKE! S/B /BB is the deadliest 1 hit combo since spike scream
They squishy too. The counter is to have a bb on you or switch to it when they stun you. Or IG up and use the ice cone thing. I’m talking bout refreshing move. VG still has refreshing move. A weapon that lunges out of grav wells n does crazy amounts of damage AND reduces your healing. Bb users ARENT hard to kill. But since the removal of refreshing move. Well they sitting ducks.
Don’t see why no one is complaining about the axe hammer combo. Grav > slam > stun> heavy n dead. It’s all the same. Bb was fun being able to net shot away every two three shots. Very nimble for being such a small weapon. But now… use net shot and expect the 2nd grav well scream or ice wall… whilst trying to reload. Which you can’t do if someone hitting you ![]()
