Get this error trying to play my regular character after playing the PTR last night. Didnt think it would end this way. Tried all the online fixes, none of it worked. RIP. Its been a fun thousands-ish of hours. GLHF.

Can you still access the PTR?
Oddly enough, I’ve never been on the PTR. Log in server just seems down in general for me.
Ohhhhhh so maybe there is something else entirely different going on.
I am not home or else I would try to get on my self and see. Maybe there will be a post about this soon
Idk…i uninstalled it cuz i thought that might be the issue
There has been a time in the past where all AGS servers were down for some reason and another where only certain servers were down. Like only easy coast was down one time. So this may be something like that happening
I got the same message and I didn’t play the PTR, yet it says the servers are running. Did everything including verifying files, relog, shut down steam and restarted the launcher, update the drivers, ect. Hope this is resolved when i get back from work.

Also tried on a gaming laptop and get the same error message. Did not play ptr on the gaming laptop. It WAS my afk at work device. Cuz dedication to the grind!
Also created a new steam account, bought the game for new steam account, created new character on different world, same error message. Did it all for science!

Also opened my kids game and his character, same error.
Note our internet is working fine. 3 different computers 3 different accounts all the same error

I never play PTR.
Suddenly all working now…i did nothing. RIP $50.

Why rip 50? You obviously have less than 2 hrs gametime on the new account so you are eligible for a refund through steam
I remember that one tech support job I had when I was paid to tell irate people like the OP to restart their computer.
