What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: use riposte normally into shockwave or vault kick

Can confirm, it isn’t something that always happens, but it happens often enough to be disruptive to your play.
Had it happen against Vault Kick earlier today too, didn’t record it though unfortunately.

dont you have to be facing the person that is using the shockwave when you reposte
i dont use the rapier but im pretty sure thats how it works

Debuffs are being applied on you while in Riposte too. Got shield rushed day of the April Patch and I got a weaken debuff on me. Shockwave also was affected me in Riposte. Not fun.
i think for a debuff its always been like that, but i dont know if its intended or not. i remember riposting rain of arrow will ignore the initial damage but still get the bleed.

*Update : turns out the bug is because of the perk “Sundering Riposte” on the armor, this has been posted long time ago by someone and still no notice from the DEV,

a quick workaround is to not use an armor with sundering riposte.
And people said Rapier was broken because of its defensives. They’re right, it IS broken but in a bad way that 50% of the time it’s unreliable.

I have it on my Laz rapier, not on armor, so that’s not it.

yes but the workaround by removing the sundering riposte perk works if you watch it on my video
So what, don’t use it on my rapier either? I’d rather eat 1 out of 15 stuns than not get my 15% rend tbh. Wish they’d just fix it, obviously, but it is still happening on PTR sometimes too I think.
what i mean is having the perk on is not the TRIGGER for it to happen, but once you had the bug you will have it 100% of the time unless you remove the perk from your gears
I see. Did you test removing the boots then re-equipping them to see if the bug cleared?
yea i did, nothing seem to clear it even if i put it back on or replace it with another gear then put it back on again,
Well i don’t know, I’ve never had it persist personally. It just happens occasionally, then the next time it usually? works.
