With the recent changes to melee combat, riposte needs to always stun if it is triggered. You shouldn’t be able to attack someone in the riposte position and dodge away from the stun unscathed. It should at the very least apply sundering riposte.
This is important because the rapier weak. You cannot go toe to toe with any of the other melee weapons. It no longer excels as a defensive weapon. It does not appear to be the secondary weapon of choice for healers anymore, at least not in arenas. Realistically, at best, you can use the rapier as secondary to chase or disengage with fletch.
The rapier could use some sort of buffs and I think this minor buff would make a small, but meaningful difference.
