If you know anything about pvp you would know the reason it isnt op is because a lot of the abilities and a light attack can hit it then dodge out of the stun

I didnât see this happen at all when I was on the PTR, but I was very specifically testing winter event stuff and didnât do any PVP. Also I wasnât boosted to 60, just 16.
For clarity: Didnât experience this bug in PVE scenarios.
If it only happens in PVP I would assume that was too specific for a bug.
A giant 300 lb man in 100 lbs of armor doing full body leaps with a giant hammer that also would probably weigh 30+ lbs seems perfectly logical.

Bro its a fantasy MMO. Its so far from real why would we make riposte realistic. Should Ice Storm immobilize heavy armor wearers completely because it builds up ice on your steel armor? Or you could take extra damage every time you get hit from fire staff because it would make your armor unbearably hot.
