we need boats.
everyone got to this island from the water, right?
many of those folks would know about building boats.
there are rivers, lakes, streams all over. Why isn’t anyone building canoes, kayaks, rafts, floats, or anything to move along the waterways?
I think we need boats. Just saying.
Somebody makes them because as you wander around you see small boats loaded with boxes and lobster traps, etc.
I want to make a boat.

But… There be Kraken and Drowned and “Lions and Tigers and Bears… Oh My…”, They have already said that mounts are coming, Just waiting until the map is expanded enough for them to make sense. But, the Boat thing has some merit as well. I Just don’t see them digging canals to everytown Aeternium, just so they don’t have to put Horses in game. (personally, I am looking forward to mounts, just hoping for a Breeding mechanic, ala BDO.)
dont forget about, the level 55 dungeon… (not sure if youve been there, but it has to do with ships)
Nope, Ain’t been there yet… Got almost 400 hrs and am just getting to level 47… been taking my time and trying to enjoy the game, not sweatlord it through the leveling or Punish myself with PvP.
I have yet to even toggle my Flag on Once, That will be after I have best in slot top tier gear and Leveled as far as I can go in the Game. Y’all have a Good One.
I need to do more dungeons, but don’t often have a single block of time big enough to commit to one. one day…
…maybe if I had a boat i could get to dungeons faster!
I hope mounts end up being a L60 super-quest to tame a beastie - rid it of corruption - of some sort and make it your mount. But only if the mount isn’t a magical “put it away when not in use” or it always shows up where you are - it needs care and feeding and a stable to stay in and will stay where you leave it unless a wild animal eats it…IMHO.
But a boat on the other hand…make a light one and carry it on your back like your shield!
