Rogue Faction - mercenaries

So, our faction lost our last territory. There should be incentives for new recruits or other players to transfer factions to join our faction.

What if, in the event a faction has no territory, that faction can cause rogue acts to disrupt-pause the economy of the territories of overpopulated well funded factions. Or become mercenaries, high income

Where is the balance right now?

Balancing factions and populations will take time. I hope they don’t try to fix it through swapping players between servers, and instead take a path that uses in game actions. But that is the hard way and will take way more time to figure out. I have my doubts Amazon gets the feeling from the forum in large, players have the patience to see the process through… I hope they use ideas like this, thou

the influence levels are… corrupted :slight_smile: as yellows, smallest faction on our server with 2 land, green had 4 but now 3, purples have the rest…
we see 150/200 sign ups for wars/invasions, but when help is needed defending fort or reducing/gaining influence… ppl dont want to know… very little response, and its usually the same few who do…
as a new player in a new game, i didnt want to rush to 60, i had plans but they all went out the window after L25… im now 56, messing about with pvp has got in the way of my crafting, levelling & gearing, and bcos other factions are huge, pvp gets costly most times as they rush us with probably over double what we have… it becomes boring… its not demoralising, its demotivating… i want to enjoy a few hours at night, not grind hard to stop others taking land… it shouldnt happen so fast… and the invasions… ffs… they should not happen until half server is L60 and forts are at least half upgraded… spriggans ?? 5 secs on flag & its over ?? wth?
all the efforts upgrading gone… :confused: more expensive travel…
so anyway… its tough now as the smaller faction, server transfers will prob make it worse for a while, and the grind will make some weaker minded just jump to green for the reduced travel costs… and enjoy the game…
from 2pm to 8pm last night purples were having a go and after 60% we had about an hour working hard, trying to stop them doing missions and trying to keep fort, but outnumbered all over & players dont enjoy it and leave, leaving us even shorter on numbers… and war was declared… again…
it becomes a job, a grind, a chore… 6hrs and we could not stop it… it felt futile, which again makes players not want to bother… it all needs looking at before servers become 2 factions only… but most new players in the future will just look at map & choose the most popular leaving the smaller ones even smaller…

I’d like to see a fourth ‘grey’ faction added to the game. The player base gets real heated and pretty toxic arguing about the greens, yellows, and purples. The politics are getting ridiculous and I want no part of it. I got kicked out of an invasion half way through just for being purple. I don’t want to take part in any of that and don’t care about fighting for a territory of my own.

I propose a grey faction that can take part of any side in a war but can’t claim land for the faction. It would be something akin to sell swords/mercenaries. If not add a new faction, this neutral faction can come in the form of not making a player choose a faction to progress the story. Add an option for them to select no faction.

ye, i never liked the L10 choose now… its ok saying we can swap but how many of the larger factions would move ? that leaves only smaller ones losing players to bigger factions… enhancing the issue…
i’d be happy with a neutral faction but then im not sure I’d be motivated to fight other peoples wars properly… i;d prob just stay neutral

And that would be a valid choice/reason for the neutral faction. Give it the ability for people to participate in these big PvP battles if they want to, but it’s less important to them than it is to the other factions fighting for land/dominance.

Scenario 1: Yellow loses all territory to XP farming and watermark farming meta LVL 60’s faction. In the event there is no territory Yellow can do quests or pvp events to restrict benefits in war for the meta faction, or restrict their ongoing progress by negatively impacting their economy in some way or form. This game is unforgiving for those who want a casual gaming experience as it is right now. And what about the other companies that don’t ever get to experience pvp war because of the meta farmer factions?

Scenario 2: In the event a faction is down to their last territory, they should get a war benefit or a buff. If I was fighting for my home It shouldn’t be same scale. But I guess that is the game right now.
